Reunion Meeting The meeting tonight was somewhat subdued. Present were Kinky, me, Linda Martha Sue, and Susie. We were pretty serious tonight compared to the other meetings I suppose because the time is nigh. It is actually closer for some than for others, in fact we had a classmate show up last Friday for the reunion. Seems she sent her form in and using her memory thought it was June 25 & 26. I suppose we shouldn't tell that on Amy. We discussed whether it would count when it comes to the prize for who traveled the farthest. Like to welcome Marilyn Elumbaugh-Brewer to the email list. Marilyn is still in the BHS library. Hey Grandpa what's for supper?? We discussed the food and drink and there will be several hors d'oeuvres trays (buffalo wings, hot sausages, quiche, casadias, cheese, vegetable and chips) on Friday night, free beer, wine and soft drinks. Saturday night we are having, Fried Catfish, Prime Rib and Stuffed Chicken, green beans, corn, stir fried onions & peppers, twice baked potatoes, rice and cherry cobbler for dessert. Yum Yum! We decided that the group picture will be on your own (in other words buy it if you want one). There will be several valuable prizes given away for various accomplishments. We then discussed our children's driving abilities (or lack thereof) and resulting insurance rates, putting alum or preparation H on eyelids to get the wrinkles out and the artificial boob job in Cosmopolitan that MSS tried years ago. It was quite a hoot. Our final meeting and preparations will be July 19 (CyberSusie is on vacation until then). Looks like quite the good time is in order. See you there!
