Well it's y2k ruok?? Being in the computer biz I can say the rollover to y2k was very uneventful. Even some of the old computers that were not suppose to rollover correctly did. Yawn!!! I really got tired of the TV news media trying to make something of nothing.

I had a first in my adult life. Stayed home on New Year's Eve. What's up with that??

It's been pretty routine here in the city. I'm just sittin around waiting for golf season. I stopped by to see Danny the other day at his new restaurant. He gave me the Grand Tour and it is gonna be really something. The view and sound of the river is really nice and the bend in the river blocks the view of the sewer ponds! He is going to try to have it open this spring.

Well winter started a week or so back but I have only had 2 fires in the fireplace. Been pretty warm here in the midsection of the USA. Wonder how it is in Sue Anne's part of the country.

I know I'm getting old cause my mother came to my house this year for Christmas. Also had Nan and her family over so we kind of had a family reunion. Nan still doesn't have an email address but I am sending this to her husband Matt and he can print it for her.

Speaking of email addresses, if anyone would like to have their very own bhs1969.com address, just let me know. You can have any name you want in the front, for example mine will be jvinson@bhs1969.com. I am changing to minimize my SPAM mail. I use to give my email address to almost every website I visited and now I am on numerous SPAM lists and get about 20 a day. So if you want one just let me know which name to use and a password. (Martha Sue would be a good candidate with that one she has now).

My son had to go have his nose operation (remember his wreck in August). The operation went well but they didn't tell us about the tough time he would have recovering. His nose was broken in 4 places which didn't help. Anyway he had an adverse reaction to his pain medicine (I think it is fenagram or something like that) and it cause him to have some kind of seizure which scared the be Jesus out of us and we had to call 911 and the ambulance took him to the emergency room. They gave him some benadrill and we brought him back home a couple of hours later. He is doing fine now and gets his nose splint off tomorrow.

My daughter is bored and wants to get back to school (takes after her dad???). She is trying to go to the University of Sydney for their fall term which begins July 15th. She also noticed that the summer Olympics are there this year.
