Just a note to let you know I updated the classmate chat page: http://www.bhs1969.com/Correspondence/Chat.htm It includes the latest from your classmates and John Miller sent the infamous Jabberwocky (is that a poem ?? a little help English majors) Well my son is working on his final speech tonight. Mrs. Henley doesn't teach it anymore but it appears to be the same old class. Reminded me of the time when myself, Duane, Gina Stokes and I think it was Kenny (was it you Kenny?), pantomimed "Daddy Sang Bass" by Johnny Cash. Kenny was Daddy, Gina was Mama and Duane and I were "me an little brother". As often happens being naive as we were, trouble ensued. Seems Mrs. Henley was offended and considered our performance sacrilegious. I think we got a C- and a talking to. The class thought it was funny. I just do Karokee now. My last performance was Mountain of Love by Johnny Rivers. My performances would be much better if I could actually carry a tune. Not much news since last message. Finally turning winter here, rain, cold. Patsy Lee-Gibson sent $25. Thanks Patsy. I put the letter from MSS in the chat page and it lists all the donors. Haven't seen anything lately in the paper about Danny's restaurant (wasn't there a song about that, wait, no, it was Alice's Restaurant and Danny Boy). How about an update Danny D'Rock? The sandman just slapped me upside the head so off I go. Just a note turned into a letter. If only my wife could get me to talk this much! Peace, John
