I was about 45 minutes late to the meeting because of technical difficulties finishing the invitations. I won't go into the problems I had but it had to do with computers and printers. (They sure are nice when they do work!)

Everyone had a pretty good head start on me with the box of wine. I don't know what kind of wine it was other than it was pink (I know it wasn't Tickle Pink). Several stories were told, Martha Sue's "Cosmopolitan" Boob job, Susie's close encounter with the law in Fayetteville, (she said it was cause by her Sister Carol and herself dancing in the car to the song, and I quote "Hang on Snoopy"), Arthur Frankel's bootleg run to Mississippi and after we all agreed Martha Sue's e-mail handle "lesudian" sounded too much like lesbian, her explanation of how she came by the name. It seems that it is a combination of the family's middle names, Lee-Sue-Diane (I told her she should have put someone else's name first).

We had a new helper tonight, Harriet Norris-Meadows. It was good to see her again. Don't know if she will come back after this session. Us smokers welcomed her support though. I don't know where Mary Kay was tonight, I forgot to ask and I guess Ilene is still protesting the "smoking allowed" policy. Kinky and I don't get much of a chance to talk with all the women around. (Can I get sued for that statement?) We folded, taped and kibitzed till about 10:30, then Linda and I left (that doesn't sound good) the rest of them there still visiting and sipping wine. I am going to stop by Linda's workplace and pick up some more pictures from the 20th year reunion.

Well it's 12:45 a.m. and I am getting sleepy. I will post this to the Website sometime this weekend when I get a chance and maybe some more details of the meeting (a good secretary I ain't).
