E-Mail Notice 4-13-99 Well here I go off to Houston and San Francisco (it's actually Santa Clara but who ever heard of Santa Clara except Nancy B). It's only about 40 miles from SF (that's 200 in Arkansas miles, takes about the same amount of time) I got an email from Julie at the Guard and she put us all on. We are by far the largest group. I have a few corrections I will mail her and of all people Cyber Susie is missing??? Sorry Susie, I will get it corrected. Also need to add Steve Bell and Pam Brown and Debbie Degitz has changed (The state changed and added 'mail' to their address). Well I got everything packed, counted the days and added one extra pair of underwear (my wife told me to). I am taking a laptop with me (hope I don't have to turn it on every time I go through that X-Ray machine, I go through a lot cause you have to go outside to smoke). I will be keeping in touch via my work e-mail account so if you need to get a hold of me send me email at jvinson@lyon.edu. I can check this on the Internet. Got an email from Martha Sue and she said we haven't heard from "a single person". She thinks it's because of April 15th & taxes. I talked to Paul "Bo" Burge today and he wanted to know when to send in his money. I told him it would make MSS happy if he sent it in right away. He said his girlfriend hasn't decided whether she wants to come or not. I also heard from Bill Monday's wife. It seems Bill doesn't read his e-mail but she said she was enjoying it. They have 4 kids ages 5-12 (eeek!) and it will be hard for them to get away. I told her I understood completely. Ours are almost grown and we can't go anywhere. Well it's time for some shut eye and I still have to email Julie at the Guard. Nighty night, John |
