Danny W. Brooks Published on 12/18/2002 Batesville Guard Danny Wade Brooks, 51, of Maumelle died Monday, Dec. 16, 2002, at his home. Born Sept. 28, 1951, in Batesville, he was the son of Harley Wade Brooks Jr. and Elizabeth Platt Brooks. He was a retail manager and a member of Ruddell Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Dina Wainwright Brooks; a daughter, Jodi Michelle Brooks of Austin, Texas; his mother, of Batesville; a brother, Wesley Brooks of Batesville; a sister, Sandy Brooks Taylor of Charlotte; several nieces and nephews; mother-in-law Estelle Wooten; and the family dog, Rueben. He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter, Tera Brooks. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ruddell Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with arrangements by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville. Pallbearers will be Brandon Taylor, Chester Gray, Jeromy Bunch, Bill Flemming, David Harris and Lonnie Byrd. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home.
